Repitch Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

This page explains, in plain English, what data Repitch collects when you use the service at repitch.io, who processes it for us, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

  • Account details — your email address, your name, and a password (stored securely hashed, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google instead, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google and no password is stored.
  • Your content — the videos and screen recordings you upload or record, and everything Repitch generates from them: transcripts, scripts, and narration audio.
  • Usage data — how much of the service you use, including AI-minute metering (how many minutes of narration we generate for you), so we can apply plan limits and billing correctly.
  • Payment data — handled by Paddle, not us. Paddle, our merchant of record, processes your card or payment details. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status.

How we use it

We use your data for one thing: running Repitch for you — making your videos, keeping your account working, applying your plan's limits, and answering your support requests. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not use your content to train public AI models.

Who processes data for us

To make your videos, some of your data passes through a small set of service providers:

  • Paddle — payments, invoicing, and tax, as our merchant of record. Paddle receives your payment and billing details.
  • ElevenLabs — voice generation and transcription. Receives your scripts (to voice them) and your videos' audio (to transcribe it).
  • Anthropic — AI script writing and refinement. Receives transcripts and scripts, and for silent recordings a handful of still frames from your video so the AI can describe what is on screen.

Repitch itself — your account, videos, and generated content — is hosted on a server in the United States. Each provider only receives what it needs for its job.

How long we keep it

Your content stays in your account until you delete it or delete your account — there is no automatic expiry. When you delete something, it is removed from your account immediately; the underlying media files are purged from our storage during routine cleanup, and copies can remain in our routine backups for a short while until those backups rotate out.

Cookies

Repitch uses cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Your rights

You can see and download your own content anytime from your account. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and everything in it deleted, email support@repitch.io and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live (for example the EU or UK), these rights are also guaranteed to you by law.

Children

Repitch is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

The Companion Chrome extension

The optional Repitch Companion extension for Chrome has its own, more detailed privacy policy covering exactly what it captures during a recording: Repitch Companion privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above, and make a reasonable effort to notify you of significant changes.
